- Build a short “remote leadership playbook” PDF (≤2 pages) that outlines your communication cadence, async decision‑making framework, and KPI tracking using Excel dashboards; attach it to your application or reference it in your cover letter to demonstrate mastery of the listed Excel skill.
- Prepare a 10‑minute technical deep‑dive presentation (recorded or live) on a complex database migration or schema‑design challenge you solved, emphasizing trade‑offs, team coordination, and measurable outcomes—Tiger Data’s interviewers love seeing both technical depth and managerial oversight.
- Research Tiger Data’s recent product releases (e.g., TimescaleDB 2.x features, multi‑node analytics) and craft a brief proposal (≤300 words) on how you’d improve one feature or address a scalability pain point; embed this proposal in your résumé or cover letter to show proactive product thinking.
- When discussing compensation, benchmark senior engineering manager salaries for remote PostgreSQL/DB teams at comparable Series C‑D SaaS firms; be ready to negotiate a package that includes equity and a “remote work stipend” for home‑office setup, referencing market data from levels.fyi or comparable surveys.
