Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager
WFA Digital Insight
Tava Health’s Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager sits at the crossroads of strategy, data, and creative execution, making it a rare blend of analytical and storytelling work. The role isn’t confined to a single funnel; you’ll build provider recruitment journeys, patient sign‑up flows, and partnership activation campaigns—all while owning the underlying event tracking and automation architecture. What sets this opportunity apart is the hands‑on responsibility for both the big‑picture roadmap and the nitty‑gritty of HTML/CSS template coding and HubSpot configuration. You’ll partner directly with product, engineering, and commercial teams, giving you visibility across the entire product lifecycle. Candidates who thrive here will enjoy the freedom to test, iterate, and scale lifecycle programs that have an immediate impact on mental‑health access.
Job Description
ABOUT TAVA At Tava Health, we believe mental health care should be as accessible and stigma-free as a checkup. We're reimagining the entire experience: from how people find a therapist to how providers deliver care, so more individuals can get the support they need, when they need it. We’re a fast-growing team on a bold mission: to make high-quality mental health care available to everyone. If you’re passionate about using technology to solve meaningful problems and create lasting change, we’d love to meet you. ABOUT THE ROLE Tava Health is looking for a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own the strategy, infrastructure, and execution behind a wide variety of lifecycle marketing programs. This is a hybrid strategic/technical/creative role: you'll design and execute journeys that recruit therapists and prescribers, drive patient signups and completed sessions, and activate commercial partnerships — while also getting hands-on with the data infrastructure, platform configuration, and template code that make those journeys work. You'll operate across the entire business, partnering with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Provider, Client, and Commercial teams on provider growth programs and additional lifecycle initiatives. If you love the intersection of strategy, data, and craft — and want to build lifecycle programs that genuinely help people access mental healthcare — this role is built for you. WHAT YOU'LL DO Lifecycle Strategy & Campaign Execution - Build lifecycle marketing strategy, customer journeys, and campaigns to recruit providers, drive patient signups and completed sessions, and activate commercial partnerships.
- Rigorously test and iterate on all campaign elements — subject lines, messaging, timing, segmentation, and CTAs — to continuously improve open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and other key performance metrics.
- Strategize, write, and edit compelling, brand-aligned copy for lifecycle communications that resonates with providers, individuals seeking mental health support, and commercial partners.
- Scope event schemas and resolve data structure mismatches between systems (e.g., CRM, webhook, and ESP integrations).
- Identify the right architecture — API-based event tracking vs. native integrations — for reliable, scalable campaign triggers.
- Apply advanced templating logic (e.g., Handlebars or similar conditional templating languages) to build dynamic campaigns.
- Troubleshoot platform-specific field resolution and data-binding issues.
- Ensure correct rendering, including null/missing data handling and fallback states.
- Ensure consistent display across devices and email/SMS clients. Analytics & Reporting - Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance.
- Use performance insights to optimize journeys and campaigns, and make actionable recommendations for future strategy.
- Present results and insights to stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Assess CDP/ESP tooling and data pipeline requirements (e.g., BigQuery).
- Ensure compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA) are met as systems and processes evolve. WHAT YOU'LL BRING - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 6-9 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM management, or email marketing, preferably within a high-growth tech or healthcare/wellness environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in driving measurable conversions.
- Hands-on, expert-level experience with a modern marketing automation platform — Iterable and HubSpot preferred — including template logic, event-triggered campaigns, and API-level troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of event tracking and data infrastructure; comfortable partnering with Engineering on API-based event tracking, webhook architecture, and resolving data structure mismatches between marketing and product systems.
- Strong strategic thinking and copywriting skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging, and persuasive messaging.
- Proficiency in setting up and analyzing A/B and multivariate tests.
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS and conditional/templating logic (e.g., Handlebars, Liquid, or similar) for building dynamic, data-driven templates.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to use data (e.g., Mixpanel, BI tools, Excel) to inform decisions.
- Fully-covered medical and dental premiums for you and your family, plus voluntary insurance options.
- Free, generous Tava mental health benefit — of course!
- Monthly HSA contributions for qualifying enrolled employees.
- Generous PTO and paid holidays.
- Paid parental leave.
- 401(k) retirement plan.
- Weekly company-paid lunch via DoorDash and a personal DashPass subscription.
- Opportunity to make a meaningful impact at a high-growth, mission-driven company. --- *For tax purposes, priority will be given to candidates living in states where we already have employees.
How to Stand Out
- Highlight any HubSpot certifications or hands‑on projects where you built complex automated journeys.
- Include a portfolio snippet showing an HTML email or SMS template you coded, emphasizing responsive design and conditional logic.
- Prepare to discuss specific metrics you improved (e.g., open or conversion rates) and the testing methodology behind those gains.
- Demonstrate familiarity with HIPAA constraints by explaining how you safeguard personal health information in marketing workflows.
- When interviewing, ask about the current event‑tracking stack and how the team balances API‑based triggers versus native integrations.
- Emphasize cross‑functional collaboration experiences, especially with product or engineering teams.
- Negotiate remote‑work allowances early; many tech‑focused firms budget for home‑office equipment and coworking memberships.
