Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process for large-scale product initiatives.
• Partner with product and engineering leaders to define goals and success metrics.
• Conduct user research and testing to uncover pain points and validate solutions.
• Deliver high-quality designs that align with business goals and design systems.
• Think in MVPs (minimum viable products): ship the leanest solution that delivers the most value to the most users, with minimal scope creep.
• Define and evolve design patterns, contributing to the growth of our design system.
• Advocate for user-centered design across the organization.
• Mentor mid-level designers to elevate their design skills.
• Use AI tools to accelerate the design process without trading away quality or user-centered judgment.
• Collaborate on design strategies for multiple products and features.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio of complex design work.
• Expertise in design systems, user research, and interaction design.
• Proficiency with tools like Figma and prototyping tools.
• Fluency with AI tools such as Claude and Gemini to work efficiently across research, ideation, prototyping, and documentation." - Ability to facilitate workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions.

• Highlight any experience designing healthcare or B2B SaaS products—especially rehab‑therapy or patient‑facing tools—in your resume and portfolio; include screenshots of dashboards, workflow maps, or patient portals and annotate how your designs met clinical compliance or HIPAA accessibility standards.
• Build a case‑study that demonstrates your ability to turn raw Excel data (e.g., usage metrics, outcome reports) into actionable design insights; show the Excel sheet, the analysis process (pivot tables, charts), and the resulting wireframes or UI decisions to prove you can bridge data and design.
• Prepare a short (5‑minute) remote design critique of Prompt’s public product pages during the interview; focus on usability, accessibility (WCAG 2.1), and scalability, and propose one concrete improvement backed by a quick sketch or prototype—this shows you’ve done homework and can think on the fly.
• Emphasize remote collaboration skills: list the exact tools you use (Figma, Miro, Slack, Notion, Jira) and give a brief example of a cross‑functional sprint where you led design reviews across time zones, kept version control clean, and delivered assets that developers could implement without ambiguity.
• When discussing compensation, research the median senior product design salary for remote health‑tech roles (typically $130‑$165k base plus equity); be ready to present a data‑driven range, reference your proven impact on revenue‑generating features, and ask for a performance‑linked bonus tied to product adoption metrics.
