How to Stand Out
- Build a one‑page product roadmap for a real or imagined Ready product (e.g., a SaaS feature for remote teams) using Excel’s Gantt templates, include clear milestones, dependencies, and a “risk‑adjust” column; attach this as a PDF in your application to demonstrate both technical product thinking and Excel proficiency.
- In your résumé and LinkedIn, quantify any “adjust” experience (e.g., “Iterated product specs based on A/B test results, reducing time‑to‑market by 22%”) and highlight remote collaboration tools you’ve mastered (Slack, Notion, Miro) to show you thrive in Ready’s distributed, fast‑paced environment.
- Prepare a 5‑minute “product deep‑dive” case study for the interview: start with a concise vision statement, walk through the Excel‑driven roadmap, explain how you’d collect and prioritize customer feedback, and end with a measurable success metric—this mirrors the interviewers’ focus on bridging technical delivery with business outcomes.
- Showcase a portfolio that includes at least one end‑to‑end product launch where you acted as the technical liaison (e.g., wrote API specs, coordinated engineering sprints, delivered release notes). Include screenshots of Excel dashboards you built for tracking KPIs; link to a private GitHub or Google Drive folder in your cover letter.
- When discussing compensation, reference Ready’s remote‑first policy and market benchmarks for senior TPMs (e.g., $130‑$155 k base + equity). Propose a salary range based on your years of experience, and ask how performance‑based bonuses tie to roadmap delivery metrics you’d be managing.
