Role Overview
We are seeking a highly committed Insurance Broker Assistant to support our clients Australian-based Insurance brokerage. Unlike standard administrative roles, you will play a critical part in giving professional general advice, handling complex policy renewals, endorsements, and technical client queries while ensuring 100% compliance with ASIC regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Policy Management: Process new business applications, renewals, and mid-term adjustments via platforms like Winbeat \& SCTP.
Claims Advocacy: Manage end-to-end claims, acting as the liaison between the client and the Australian insurer to ensure timely settlements.
Compliance: Maintain meticulous records in the CRM, ensuring all "Best Interest Duty" requirements are documented.
Client Engagement: Handle high-level queries from Australian clients regarding policy coverage and premium funding options.
Qualifications \& Requirements (Nice to have)
Completed RG146 Tier 1 -- Insurance Broking
Minimum 2 years' experience in Australian general insurance broking
General Knowledge handling SME- Business Pack and Commercial insurance products (Professional Indemnity, Property, Liability, PI, Motor, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Experience working Australian hours
Preferred Skills
Experience using Australian Insurance broking platforms
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Australian general insurance broking
Strong knowledge handling SME- Business Pack and Commercial insurance products (Professional Indemnity, Property, Liability, PI, Motor, etc.)
Claim handling
Quote preparation
Strong attention to detail and compliance awareness
Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
Self-driven and capable of working independently in a remote setup
